Seeds at the Library

Beginning February 2023, you're invited to grow your garden with the Lapwai Community Library. Add to your garden with our free selection of vegetables, herbs, and flower seeds.

 

Not sure if you have a green thumb? For tips on making sure your garden grows, and to learn more about growing visit the Prairie River Library District Catalog for materials related to gardening.

You can also visit the University of Idaho Extension, Nez Perce County to learn more on specific gardening topic and preserving foods.

​

Visit us anytime during the Lapwai Community Library open hours to browse the seed collection or plant seeds to take home.

 

Seeds, paper pots, and potting soil will be provided.

Who We Are

The Prairie River Library District has eight branches in communities along the Clearwater River and Camas Prairie, with the district headquarters located at the Lapwai branch.  PRLD is a member of Valnet, a consortium of over 40 public and school libraries in north-central Idaho and southeast Washington.
